Beloved partner of the late William King, Penny was also the cherished mother of Wendy (Godfrey), and devoted “Nannie” of Mia and Bryce. Predeceased by her only brother Kenton, she will be deeply missed by her sister-in-law Jill as well as her stepfamily from the UK: Dominic (Paula) & Eloise, Nicole (Anthony) and June.
Prior to her years working in St. Lambert as a real estate agent, Penny spent much of her career in the shipping industry as Payroll Master for Halco, where she eventually met and fell in love with her dear “Willi”. Penny’s greatest joy came from being an amazing mother and grandmother but also neighbor and friend to so many who knew and loved her. Her absence will be felt deeply by many, but particularly her long-time friends Carole, Lou-Anne, Betty-Anne, Madeline and Anne. Penny will also be sadly missed by her circle of dear friends from Maxville, Ontario.
Visitation will be held with the family at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (307, Riverside, Saint-Lambert) on Friday December 3rd from 6-9pm and Saturday December 4th from 1-4pm, followed by a chapel service starting at 4pm.

* A small memorial gathering in celebration of Penny’s life will be planned in Maxville next spring.
