Paul, a Second World War veteran, had a number of varied interests in his life. He was a long time employee of Caverhill &Learmont, and a proud founder of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. As a Legion member, he worked diligently and tirelessly in the ongoing activities of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 14, particularly with the poppy fund and as a volunteer at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Hospital. His efforts resulted in the award of the Meritorious Service Medal.
Predeceased by his loving wife Noreen, Paul is survived by his children Michael (Carol), Stephen, Pauline (Paul), four grandchildren, a great granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn his passing is his most cherished friend Shirley Brambell.
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Hospital. We particularly single out the teams of Unit 3B for their outstanding support and compassionate loving care of our Dad. We are more grateful than you’ll ever know.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society or to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Hospital.
