It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Henry Bruce Lovell. Bruce passed away peacefully and with dignity at the age of 83 on October 2nd, 2023 in Charles LeMoyne Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Jean (Eddington) for 60 years; loving father of Jennifer (Robert Bart) and Andrea (Charles Rye); devoted Grandad to Simon, Elizabeth, Olivia, Amelie, and step-grandad to Graeme (Ashton) and Garrett (Chloe).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Gertude; his siblings, Ellen (Ted Olsen), Arthur, Leslie, and Beverley.
Bruce will be greatly missed by siblings Judy (Walter Gibbon), Gary (Barbara Smith), Gayle (Karen Hunt), his in-laws and his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the incredible team in the Palliative Care Unit at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital for their excellent care.
Visitation to take place on Tuesday, October 10th at 10 am with service to follow at 12 pm at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home located 307 Promenade Riverside in St. Lambert.
