Il s'est éteint en toute douceur à la maison à l'âge de quatre-vingt-seize ans.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses quatre enfants Georges, Jean (Linda), Nicole (Irv), et Maryse (Ted), ses petits-enfants Sarah (Fraser), Janine, Marielle (Tyler), Leah, Caitlin, et Adèle, ses arrière-petits-enfants Adalynne et Cédric (enfants de Sarah et Fraser), sa soeur Françoise Mercure (née Lespérance), son beau-frère Claude Morin et sa belle-soeur Lise Riopelle. Il était frère de feu Pierre, feu Charles, feu Suzanne Morin (née Lespérance) et feu Louise Charbonneau (née Lespérance).
La famille tient à remercier le docteur André Dufour pour les soins attentifs bien au-delà du nécessaire. La famille remercie également madame Lise Girard et son équipe du CLSC pour les excellents soins prodigués à Jean.
Nous sommes surtout très reconnaissant pour les soins de son fils Georges pendant les dernières années de Jean, ce qui a rendu possible sa volonté de rester à la maison jusqu'à la fin.
Une cérémonie aura lieu le samedi 14 août à 14h00 en la chapelle du Complexe Funéraire Guay, 146 rue St-Louis à St-Eustache.

At Saint Lambert, Tuesday the 16th of February 2021, passed away Jean Lespérance, husband for sixty-seven years of the late Pierrette (née Riopelle).
He passed away peacefully at home at the age of ninety-six.
He is survived by his four children Georges, Jean (Linda), Nicole (Irv), and Maryse (Ted), his grandchildren Sarah (Fraser), Janine, Marielle (Tyler), Leah, Caitlin, and Adèle, his great-grandchildren Adalynne and Cédric (children of Sarah and Fraser), his sister Françoise Mercure (née Lespérance), his brother-in-law Claude Morin and his sister-in-law Lise Riopelle. He was predeceased by his brothers Pierre and Charles, and his sisters Suzanne Morin (née Lespérance) and Louise Charbonneau (née Lespérance).
The family would like to thank Dr André Dufour for his care well beyond the strict necessary. The family would also like to thank Lise Girard and her team at the CLSC for their excellent care.
The family is especially grateful to his son Georges for his care in the last years that permitted the realization of Jean’s wish to remain at home until the end.
Funeral service will be held at Complexe Funéraire Guay, 146 rue St-Louis, St-Eustache on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Given the exceptional situation we are currently experiencing due to the pandemic, it is still
possible to receive condolences at the funeral home, but under the respect of the
recommendations of the government, which are as follows:
- Maximum attendees of 50 people (possibility of rotation);
- Respect the 2 meters of social distancing at all times;
- Respect the hygiene instructions (hand washing);
- Wearing of a mask is mandatory;
- No one who has traveled in the past few weeks may be present;
- No one with any COVID-19 symptoms may be present.
