I Love You Everyday Uncle Bill!                        My Beautiful Memories of You are when I asked You To 
 be My Guardian Angel,  You said Yes. With You by My Side, I know My Life will change to the better! Thank-You for always Talking with Me and Trying to help with My situations, and You always have. What will I do without You? I will miss You forever!

My grandpa MacPhee was one of the greatest men I have ever known.  The best role model I could of ever asked for.  He helped raise me and my brothers. He was always there for his family. I am so lucky that he was such a presence in my life. And blessed that my children were able to spend time with him. 

What a wonderful, witty,kind tenderhearted, Christian man Dad MacPhee was. He helped bring so many people to Christ not only through his testimony but also through example. He will be so missed and remembered with nothing but love. My heart goes out to my second family, I love you all so much, the past few months have been so hard for you. I know you find peace knowing that he has been reunited with Billy and Margaret, and thru the faith your family was built on know you will all be together one day. Celebrate his amazing life and legacy and find comfort that he is home with his Savior.  

Bill always greeted my brother and I when we started attending Bethany in 1972. Years later, I was able to serve with Bill at Celebrate Recovery and the prison ministry for over 15 years. He loved the Lord.  He loved to sing praises. He was a prayer warrior. He was a fisherman and a fisher of men.

My grandfather is the greatest man I’ve ever known. 

All of us 23 grandchildren were beyond blessed to have him in our lives.

Married for almost 75 years, 7 children, 23 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren (so far).

 He left a legacy on this earth to be proud of and is now, thankfully, resting on a boat. Fishing in heaven.

A number of christmases ago my mother called my grandma to tell her my brothers were going to drop a plate of food off they had left at my parents house.

It was dark outside and snowing heavy.

My grandma said don’t worry, grandpa will pick it up on his way home from Celebrate Recovery (A 12 step program he helped with at the Macomb County Prison).

My mother asked my grandma why he was doing this on Christmas and my grandmother said, “Because your father said it was Christmas for prisoners too.”

My grandfather was 88, drove out in the snow and cold to minister to the needs of those less fortunate.

Anyone who knew my grandfather would not be surprised by that.

It was just the type of man he was.

Grateful to have Grandpa MacPhee at our wedding in June 2014. Grandma & Grandpa have been great models to us of a strong marriage. Their fierce love for each other and their family is like no other! 

Uncle Bill and Aunt Shirley heard about my mothers (Isabell, Bills sister) passing back in 2012 and promptly flew out to Ca to be at her memorial. They were there for 2 days and on the 2nd day, Bill got sick and we took him to the hospital. He missed his big sisters memorial, due to Gallbladder issues. He really wanted to be with her before she passed, but she couldn’t make it that far.  My mother loved her little brother more than anything. She always spoke fondly of him and Aunt Shirley. Uncle Bill, you will be missed. You are  with Jesus and he is well pleased. Love you big guy. Your Nephew John.

Bill is the cherished grandfather to 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Bill will be missed by many family and friends.


He was born on June 26, 1925, to proud parents William and Margaret MacPhee.
