Thomas Schmidt, age 46, passed peacefully on November 2, 2011. He is survived by his loving siblings Terri (Curt) McCloy, Steven (Beatrice) Schmidt and Cindy (Tim) Murphy; nieces and nephews Heather (John) Duggan; Emily Schmidt and Erik Schmidt and many dear family, friends and caretakers. Visitation Friday, November 4, from 3 – 9 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Tom will lie in-state from 9:30 am until time of Mass, 10 am, at Our Lady of Hope – St. Gertrude Campus, 28839 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
