Tom was a best friend during grade school/high school.
He lived in a great house in Grosse Pointe across the street from me.
We got together about every day for a number of  years until they sold their house snd moved away.

I remember he loved to watch Soupy Sales, reading comics and Mad Magizines.
We walked up to a confectionary a couple blocks away many many times.
Coke or an R C Cola! Maybe a Pepsi or Nehi Orange drink.
Drove around in one of his dads used cars from their car lot on Van Dyke.
What happened to their old restored Model T?
I remember us recording new released pop songs on his large reel to reel tape recorder.
Waiting for a good song to come on the radio before pressing the record button.
Remember us being very surprised  that his brother did not want to watch The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show when they just became the rage.
Riding around with him on his motor scooter.
Primary? Vespa? Moped? 
Tom had a lot of nice toys.
Very easy going. I remember he wore a pocket watch with a chain attached like men wore many years before.  Some still did in 1959 .


Sorry I did not keep in contact with him.







Tom was married to my best friend, he was truly blessed to have had Pat as a wife!  She has been a source of strength, devotion, care-giver, friend and LOVE OF HIS LIFE!  Tom will be missed by his sons, and friends!




Sweet smile- sweet man you will be missed.

Hereford will always be a special place . Grateful our paths have intertwined.  God, welcomes Thomas.
