Teresa Manzo

Teresa Manzo, age 86, has gone to heaven on March 12, 2015. She was born on October 14, 1928, in Ceprano, Italy. Teresa was the beloved wife of the late Filippo for 57 years; loving mother of Marco (Carol) and Loreto (Brenda); dear grandmother of Emily, Anthony, Catherine, and Angela; sister of Mario (Adeline) DeAngelis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Teresa was predeceased by her parents Loreto and Giovanna of Ceprano, Italy and her local sister Lucia (Giuseppe) Zuccaro of Eastpointe and brother Carmen (Mary) DeAngelis of Sterling Heights. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Being with her children and grandchildren was the highlight of her day. Teresa loved having people over and cooking her famous meals. You could always find her on the penny slots at the casino. She was a caring and giving woman, and she will forever be in our hearts. The family welcomes you to celebrate Teresa’s life on Sunday, March 15, 3-9 p.m. and Monday, March 16, 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary Service at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road (@ Schoenherr Road), Sterling Heights. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, March 17, at 10 a.m. with In State beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
