Sean Patrick O’Connor passed away in the early hours of July 17, 2020. A fierce believer and defender of equality, Sean was a proud member of the UAW for nearly 40 years. He was predeceased by Cindy, his wife of 30 years, parents Patrick and Ann, brother Terrence, niece Megan, and nephew Leo. He was blessed to have spent the last 7 years married to his beloved Mary Herrada O’Connor. He is survived by his children, Briana and Ian, Casey and Brian, and Alex and Rhiannon; siblings, Peggy, Claire and Jim, Kevin and Laura, and Pat and David; siblings-in-law Elena, and Julie and Michael; mother-in-law Annabelle; granddaughter Elinor; nieces and nephews Sarah, Stephanie and Dave, Michael, Patrick, Erin and Ricardo, Nick, Liam, Natalie, Elisa and Chris, Zoë, Alejandra, Roxana and Nate; great-nieces and nephews Andrew, Nolan, Mariana, Itzayana, Gabriel, Felix, Francisco, Evaluna and Camila. After retiring to Florida for several years, he was thrilled to be once again surrounded by family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to NPR or Black Lives Matter.
If you are attending visitation a face mask is required. We ask that you socially distance yourself from others as much as possible. The funeral home is only allowing 10 guests into the visitation room at a time and we ask that you keep your visiting with the family brief to allow others to pay their respects.
