Robert A. Silva, 80 of St. Clair Shores, passed away July 12, 2018.
In 1994 he retired after 45 years of service to the Detroit News & Free Press.
Robert leaves his wife of 60 years, Virginia and children Mary Margaret, Diane Marie, Joseph Albert (Denise), Kimberly (David) Skrip, Theresa (Mark) Maynard and the late Robert Anthony Silva. Robert will be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Raymond Ardelan, Briana, Erica Marie Skrip, Robert Ardelan, Angela Whately, Joshua Silva, Michael Maynard and great grandchildren Drayke Patterson, London Marie Patterson, Sophia Silva and sister Carol MacCrea. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Tanya.
The family would welcome a memorial donation to Hospice of Michigan.
