Richard E. Mooney, age 87, of St. Clair Shores, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in St. Clair Shores. He was born October 9, 1924. He was co-owner of Mooney's Bar on East Jefferson, retired custodian South Lake School District. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, WWll. Beloved husband of 58 years to Genevieve. Dearest dad of Ann (Gerald) Mies, Maureen Voikos, Kathleen (Michael) Champine, Richard (Vivian) and Philip (Sharon). Loving grandpa of 17, great-grandpa of 13. Dear brother of Esther Hogan and the late Dorothy Brown. Visitation Friday 2-9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores.
