Michael Steven Shank

Maybe the best way to sum up Mike is to say that he was “there”... There for his kids, there for his wife, for his parents, for his brothers, for his friends, for the kids he coached and for his job. Mike exhibited a quiet caring and kindness in everything he did, whether it was teaching the fundamentals of football to a child or providing support to a friend going through a difficult time. Mike conducted himself in a way that let you know he “had your back”. In its best sense, he was truly a good man.

Mike is survived by his wife Jen; children Izzy and Ryder; canine companions Biggie, Kona & Harley; parents William & Nancy Shank; siblings Robert (Sheleika Hervey) Shank and James (Sarah Bear) Shank and mother-in-law Carla Laraway.

Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
