Rest In Peace brother Mike and dear friend! You were the very best of friends to Eric, Jeff and our entire Simon-Chaplo family! We will be forever lost without you! You were a blessing to all who met and knew you. 

I am so grateful  for your friendship, and you made me a better person for knowing you! A true caring friend by every sense of the word---You were always there-- checking  in and making phone calls & visits to our family over the years. 

God’s timing is so perfect --as we never know how much time we have here on this earth before we are called Home! I am so grateful to have been able to spend time with you and your mom the last few days of your life.  One thing is for sure- you were ready my dearest friend, but we were not. 

May the Lord pour out His grace and love on  your dear family and friends, and help us in the coming weeks and months.

I always remember Mike from our wedding as he joyfully helped in every way he could to help and make our day special. He drove to the airport several times to fetch out-of-town family. When I thanked home for going above and beyond, Mike said “I’m storing up treasure in heaven.” Rest In Peace, brother!

You have been such a faithful partner of Christian Solidarity International for many years now. Our chats on the phone when I would call to thank you for your generosity were always a wonderful exchange of thoughts, ideas, and filled with such wonderful encouragement. You were a highlight in my week when we spoke! I will miss you my friend. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting in person, you had become a marvelous part of our CSI family! You have run the race and finished well! Our prayer and sympathy are with your family! God Bless you all!

Sorry to hear about Michael, Phyllis.  The bible says our days are numbered before one of them comes to pass. The problem of course is we don't know what our number is. I'm sure Michael is in a better place than this veil of tears we call life. If I can help you with anything, please let me know.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike over the past few years at Ford Credit. He was incredibly sharp & an exceptionally talented software developer. Really sorry to learn about his untimely passing; may God provide comfort & strength to his family & friends.

Mike, Eric Simon (Deceased), and myself were the 3 Amigos working at our first real professional IT Jobs together.

While I have a lifetime of memories with from those days (Midnight Movies every weekend, playing more Euchre than humanly possible, and Mike was an excellent card player...)

When I was at MSU, after that job, but Mike was still there.  I ran out of money with 1 semester left.  Mike said, just check your mail in the next couple of days.

I cried when I opened the letter.  Mike really delivered.  He also called Eric, who had sent his own check.  Both said not to worry about it until I was on my feet.

Friends of this type, you get very few of... It is with great sadness that they are both gone way too early.  May they have peace and joy with their creator!

I worked with Mike at Ford Credit, he was really, really sharp and very helpful to work with.  Always a good guy who spoke his mind, and was great to work with. 

I'm so very sorry to here about Michael's passing. Although I didn't know him well.  I met him for the first time at one of our services at Cornerstone. I said hello which I always do when I see someone I don't recognize. Mike was a very friendly person. It was a pleasure to meet him.

To Phyllis, and the Miller family, I am very sorry for your loss!
Working closely with Mike over the last twenty years delivering MAPS reporting at Ford Credit was the most meaningful part of my career. Mike was a dedicated professional that always delivered the highest quality work product. He was recognized many times for his exceptional abilities and service.  His level of loyalty and commitment to our team, and his religious faith was deep and true! He is one of the most honorable humans that I have ever met. For me, having also retired with Mike last November, I was already missing the early morning check in call from Mike that had been part of my daily routine for many, many years. I was very certain that we would continue to maintain our friendship long into the future. His sudden passing will leave many of  us only fond memories of past time together.
