Michael Anthony Bojalad, age 66, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on December 23, 2019, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He was born on June 2, 1953, in Detroit Michigan to the proud parents of Anthony and Carmela Bojalad. Michael is the beloved brother to Kathleen (Richard) Willmer. He is the cherished uncle to Ryan (Jessica) Willmer, Rachel Willmer and great uncle to Delaney McEachin.
Michael began his career in Real Estate when he was 18, renting rooms to students at U of M. In his early 20’s he hired in with Schweitzer Real Estate where Violet Schweitzer took him under her wing and got him started at what was to become a rewarding Real Estate career.
Along the way, Michael taught continuing education classes, and loved teaching.
Michael’s career took him to a management position with Century21East later to become Century21Associates in the Village of Grosse Pointe.
In 2008 Michael became Director of Education for C21 Town & Country of Grosse Pointe and a broker for Century21. There are many successful agents who are thankful to Michael for the great start they got in their new career.
Michael was a member of the National Association of Realtors, The Michigan Association of Realtors, and the Grosse Pointe Board of Realtors where he served a term as Director and Treasurer. He also served as co-chair of the Annual Charity Golf outing for the board, and through the years served on various committees. He was also a member of the Zoning Commission for the City of St. Clair Shores. He will be missed. Michael’s clients loved him. His peers loved him. He was a gentleman who always had a smile for everyone. He was one of a kind. To Michael the glass was always half full.
Michael’s family will receive friends on Saturday January 4, 2020, beginning at 10:00 am, until time of service at 1:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081. Memorials appreciated to the Michigan Humane Society or to the American Lung Association in memory of Michael A. Bojalad.
