Michael James Berch, age 55, passed away on December 07, 2021. He is survived by his parents, Deacon James (Carol) Berch; his siblings Felicia (Mike) Platzke, Denise (Chris) Jasek, Renee (Peter) Lang-Eurisch, John Berch and Susan (John) Freund, and twelve nieces and nephews.
Michael was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1984. He also attended University of Detroit and was on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. He loved music, and played the trumpet. He also participated on baseball, soccer and swim teams. He especially enjoyed family camping trips at The Pinery and Killarney Provincial Parks in Ontario Canada.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 27833 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 13,2021 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison St., St. Clair Shores, MI with an instate at 10:00 am with a funeral mass immediately following at 10:30 am.
