Mark Amos, age 71, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on April 8, 2023. He was born on August 21, 1951, to proud parents of Mark and Josephine Amos. Loving husband of 5 years to Kelly Amos. Father to Renee Farley, Julianne Amos and Nicolas Lieser. Cherished grandfather to Allyssa Farley and Izzie Farley. Nephew to Angela Spalla and Joan Weber. Uncle to Danny Muggs and Cindy Methric. Dear son-in-law to Laureen and George Speal. He was preceded in death by his sister Denise Methric. Mark will be missed by many family and friends.
Mark worked for the Detroit Police Department for 26 years before his retirement. He worked on the force for 10 years as a police officer before moving into special ops for 16 years.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023, beginning at 3:00 pm until time of service at 7: 00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mark’s memory are suggested to the Michigan Humane Society or to MI C.O.P.S.
