Lowell Dean Smith Sr.

Lowell was then thrilled to live out his retirement years in the North Country where he loved to hunt and fish. He was a very hard working man. He was preceded in death by his parents Othel & Lena Smith of Whitley, Kentucky, wife Audrey (Noe) Smith of E. Tawas, daughter Sandra St. Andre of Garden City, Michigan and great grandson Mark Jeffery Ross. Lowell is survived by his children, Gwendolyn (the late Mark) Ross of Taylor, Michigan, Lowell Dean Smith Jr. (Gabrielle) of Gaines, Michigan and Terri (Paul) Kotajarvi of E. Tawas, Michigan. He is the Grandfather of Jason (Kristen) Orme, Cory (Katrina) Vlaz, Hayley Vlaz, Eric (Stormy) Vlaz, Erica (Bobby) Lafferty, Austin (Joni) Ross, Michael Smith, Matthew (Ally) Smith, Kaylin Kotajarvi, and Christopher Kotajarvi. Lowell is the great-grandfather of Sicora, Sianna, Draven, Madison, Alaina, Amelia, and Bobby. Visitation will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 34567 Michigan Ave., Wayne, Michigan 48184, on Sunday August 12, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of Service at 2:00 pm. The burial will take place on Monday August 13, 2018, at 1:00 pm in Tawas, Michigan, at Greenwood Cemetery.
