Katherine A. O'Leary

Katherine Ann O'Leary born December 17, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan, died January 6, 2014 in St. Clair Shores. Mother, Teacher, Principle, Religious Ed Coordinator, World Traveler, Gardener, Painter, "Kay" is survived and loved by her six children: Patrick, Katherine, Dennis, Kerry, Rachel and Marty. Firstborn son, Mike, died in 1988. She was married for 38 years to (Dennis Louis O'Leary) of Saginaw, Michigan who died in 1988. She is survived by her sister Mary Barklage. Kay got her BS in Education from Wayne State University and her MA in Education from Marygrove College. She was employed by the Catholic Church for over thirty years.She was a thoughtful woman of faith, a hard worker and a devoted grandmother. We will not see the likes of her again.
