John William Korte

John William Korte, age 51, passed away on March 22, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Alicia and preceded in death by their beloved dog, Peanut. John is survived by his siblings: Michael (Leslie), Kathleen (Dan) Donahue, Peter (Barb), Tom (Pam), Colleen (Chris) Bidigare, Carolyn Dodsworth, Bruce (Heidi), Joe (Lisa), Pat (Jodie), Dan, Dave (LeighAnn), Anne (Pete) Gareau, Christine (Peter) Kelly, and Brian (Carolyn). Also left to cherish his memory are many loving nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Helen and his brother, Jim. He enjoyed long rides on his bike and long walks and car rides with his wife and Peanut. He also enjoyed experimenting with new and exciting cooking recipes.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA or St. Jude Children's Hospital in John's honor.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:30 a.m.) at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake, St. Clair Shores.
