She enjoyed taking care of the families dogs and watching soap operas. She also loved playing cards, bingo, Yahtzee and Left, Right, Center with family and friends. On weekends she would have the grandkids spend the night make them "platter plates" and tell them stories.
She and Daniel took care of her mother, Ella, (who lived to be 94) for 25 years in their home and everyone looked forward to the annual Christmas celebration at their house.
In her later years, she was excited to go to Windsor Casino every Tuesday on the bus with her friends where she would enjoy a buffet meal, gamble, and entertain everyone.
A private burial took place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, MI.
