I am the daughter of the brightest star in the sky...I love you Dad and I already miss you so much. You will always be in my heart, taking every step I take with me.
I'm not saying goodbye but, I'm saying see you later. We'll meet again someday in the heavens. Until that day I know I have a strong guardian angel watching over me.
I know our loved ones never truly die; you see them in the glimmer of others smiles or hear them in others laughter;love never dies;love lives on.
My dad taught me so much in the last few months, and we had many conversations in his last year of life.  He wanted his children to know how much he loved them. If you knew my Dad you know he always loved with his whole heart, he loved my mother, his wife so much. He spoiled her rotten as she did spoil him also. He took care of my Mom the best he could until the day she passed. He taught me about faith. If ever my parents had a problem they prayed about it and put the situation in Gods hands.  My dad always taught me good work ethic, he taught me about compassion, love, trust about how important forgiveness is. My Dad loved a good family party, he enjoyed collecting coins, he loved camping with family. He was the first one to go ride the waves after a big storm. He loved Disney, He enjoyed taking walks, collecting and digging for golf balls. He loved vistors at the nursing home, every one their knew my Dad, Mr. Shock or Papa Shock some would say. Most of all my Dad loved kisses and hugs.  I love you so much Dad and until we meet again I will miss you but you will always be close in my heart! Love you.....Anne Elsesser (Shock)

 what can I say. From the time I can remember I always looked at you like a super hero. You loved as hard as you worked. I know whenever I see a beautiful rose I will see grandma and when I see a eagle soaring strong and proud I will think of you. You were an amazing couple that I believe defines true love. I love you grandpa

I have come to realize our loved ones never truly die; you see them in the glimmer of others smiles or hear them in others laughter; love never dies; love lives on.
I told my Dad in his last few days and months how much I appreciated all he did for me and his family.  He always worked so hard and taught all his children good work ethics. He taught us when we were struggling with something to keep our faith and to put the issue or problem in God's hands and to pray about it. He also taught us about compassion, love,trust, he taught us that life is to short, he taught me forgiveness. My Dad as you all know him loved life and loved with his whole heart. He never gave up at anything he did.  He loved my mother more then anything and he loved children especially his own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He loved company or a good family party.He enjoyed collecting coins, he loved camping, riding the waves after a storm, he loved Disney. He loved playing cards with is brothers and their wives and even spoons or pass the card with his own  children. I will always hold this man, my Dad close to my heart!  Until we meet again Dad may you rest in peace!  I LOVE YOU....

Grandpa, 
 From the time I can remember I was always amazed by you. You were always smiling, and making others smile.  I hoped as a little girl that I would find a man like you and our relationship could be as strong as you and grandmas. As I sit her and picture you and grandma I always see to amazing, loving people. For some reason I always symbolize you as a strong soaring eagle and grandma as this beautiful white rose n I feel at   peace. And I know you to are finally at peace together. Watching over all your babys. I love you grandma and grandpa.

Your dad was my neighbor for 7 years.  He was a very special man.  When I moved in at Williamsburg, I started to build brick flower beds. Which I had no idea  how to do. Jerry ask me how I was going to do it. Then he made suggestions of how it should be done.  He said he'd help me.   I bought all the stuff and we were going to work on Saturday.  When I came home from work on Tuesday he had been working all day on the back bed.  He did a beautiful job and he taught me how to do the brick work in the front.  He will always be very special to me and part of my home.  He was a great neighbor.

Dearest Cousins, please accept our thoughts and prayers at this time. Your Dad is a special person, one whose memories should never be forgotten. Think of him often, in good times and not so good times, for he will always be with you. God bless all of you.   Paul and Joyce Shock
