Jim was a good person to be friends with. He made life at O'hare United just a little easier for all that came in contact with him. He knew his work well and was kind to all. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Jim's family. I have fond memories of working with him at O'Hare. As a new agent,( way back then), Jim was always very kind. I looked up to this senior agent. You will always be in our hearts.

I worked with Jim at O'Hare where my most vivid memory is him carrying the clipboard as the lobby "breaker". I remember Jim's smile when I approached, or not, his sometimes sarcastic response, which endeared him to me, his vast knowledge and pride in doing the job right and his dedication to his family, specifically his aunt. I was grateful to see him at the reunion in October and shocked to hear he has passed. 
He was a true gentleman and a great loss to us all. My sympathies to all who feel his departure.

I first got to know, Jim, off the job when he was part of a group that went to play golf at Eagle Ridge in Galena. On the job,Jim, was always there to help solve any problems I had. He always had a solution for whatever came up. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

 Thinking of Jim brings a smile to my face,it was always a pleasure working with him. RIP my friend.

I first met Jim in MBS and later at ORD.  Jim was special and I have a lot of fond memories of him.  It was in Jim's nature to always be looking out for his co-workers and friends. Sadden to hear the news about a great Lobby SD partner and Galena golf buddy. I am glad to have spent time with Jim at the UA reunion last fall talking about the "good old" days at ORD. Jim was a great colleague and friend and will be missed.

Valerie and I are saddened to learn of Jim's passing.  After Jim left United, he worked for us at Educational Tours.  He became our official representative at O'Hare Airport.  When the teachers saw Jim at the airport, they were always confident that all would work well.  And even if the airport were "falling apart," Jim would be able to work his magic and get our student groups out.  A man who always took great pride in his work, Jim was a valued employee.  May his memory always be for a blessing.
