Elaine Therese Downey joined her beloved daughter Shelayne Ann Downey and husband Harry John Downey Jr. in heaven on March 3, 2020. She is survived by her daughter Coleen Downey, grandson Jonathan Frazier and many treasured nieces and nephews. Elaine was a beautiful, strong, vibrant woman who was the ultimate glamour girl and fashionista. She never went out in public without full make-up, hair styled and perfectly accessorized. She adored decorating her house and was an innovator and very much ahead of her time. She was a long-time resident of St. Clair Shores and loved walking near the lake at Veteran’s Memorial Park. She was a dedicated and loving wife, but her greatest joy was being a mother to her two daughters Shelly and Coleen, and Nana to her grandson Jonathan. She endured a great deal of pain, sorrow and hardship during her lifetime, but she persevered and lived out her life in style
