Edward R. Matlock, age 90, died October 9, 2015. Beloved husband of Audrey for 65 years. Loving father of Michael, Deanne Matlock, Karin Matlock, Patricia McMahon, and Thomas. Dearest grandfather of Kacy, Randall, Melissa, Patrick, and Ryan. He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret. Edward proudly served in WWII in the US Marine Corps for 7 years and retired from the US Air Force after 18 years of dedicated service. He attended Western High School and Henry Ford Trade School. He achieved Scabbard and Blade at LSU Air Force ROTC. Visitation Tuesday 3-9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Instate Wednesday 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10 am at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison St, St Clair Shores. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
