Christopher John Gerth

Christopher "Chris" John Gerth, 49, passed away June 20, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years Suzanne, his cats: Lucy and Snickers, and his parents: Pam Kingslien and Bob Wargo. Also left to cherish his memory is his sister Stefani Rhett and her children: Jeremy, Leileanah and Malia; Mother-In-Law Judy Krzyzak; sister-in-law Kathy (Dennis) Schoenherr: Brad, Vickie (Aaron) and Eric; brother-in-law Carl Krzyzak; sister-in-law Jennifer (Scott) Shepherd: Zak and Zoe; grandparents Bob and Dottie Tebo. He is also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, dear friends, and Step-Mom Carol Tebo. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Jack and Virginia Schroeder, Step-Dad Montie Tebo, and Uncle Doug Schroeder.

Chris lived in Alaska for 25 years and enjoyed off-roading, his RC cars and his award winning truck sound system. His pastimes included watching WWE wrestling and any and every Alaskan reality TV show and all car shows. Chris and Suzanne met online and had a whirlwind romance; they shared a love that will be unforgettable.

A memorial service will be held on July 20, 2018 in St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 21201 13 Mile Rd., St. Clair Shores, MI 48082, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. when service begins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Suzanne.
