Bernice Peters, age 86, passed August 2, 2012. Loving wife of the late James; mother of Anne (Lester) Howey, the late Donna, Charlotte Galat, James (Barb) and Marianne (James Goetz) Krause; grandmother of Stephen, Kevin, Alec, Rebecca (Andrew) Deppner, the late Tammy, Matthew, Robyn (Chad) Gillies, Nicholas, Michael (Candise) and Derek; great-grandmother of Victoria and Cameron and aunt of several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her caregiver Agnes Kunes; special friends Johanna Barrett and Hazel McLellan and many other friends. Visitation Saturday, August 4, 5-9 pm and Sunday, 2-9 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Bernice will lie in-state Monday from 9:30 until time of Mass, 10 am, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21621 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores.
