I had the pleasure of getting to know Bill while helping him with writing his legacy/memories when he would come to Day Hospice at Hospice Niagara. He was such a sweet, caring man who loved his family deeply. I am honoured to have met him and to have been able to help him record his story for his family. RIP, Bill.

Uncle Bill, I never told you & you may not have known ho much of an impact & influence you had on my life. I was always so proud to call you my Uncle! I try to live my life emulating the kindness I saw in your eyes & your thoughtful actions. I took notice, admired & will always remember how you shared your love with your wife (my Aunt Fran) & your three boys (my cousins Gary, Richard & Jim) ... I now have a loving wife (Lisa) & two beautiful boys (Nathan & Cameron) to bring me the same joy in the daily pleasures that some people may call mundane - I saw you do the same. It is so sad that you are no longer with us. This time of year is filled with so many memories ... I remember when you dressed as Santa and came to our house, I remember looking forward to the Christmas dinners with Cabbage Rolls, I remember your love of the latest major sports playoff or fastest race car .. most of all, i'll remember the love and interest you showed in people. Without knowing it, you silently inspired perhaps the most important virtue in this world ... caring about others. I'm so sorry you had to get sick and have been taken from us, but I rejoice in your forever fond memories. I will never forget you.
My heart goes to you, Aunt Fran, Gary, Richard, Jim & families. While there are many years and miles between us, I often think of you all. I am so sorry for Uncle Bill's passing ... I wish I could be there in his wake to celebrate his life.
