Stuart Rodney Jones

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Stu, at the age of 66. Stu was the cherished father of Daniella (Stan) and Katherine (Noah), and stepfather to Danielle Chamberlain (Sean) and step-grandfather to Rachael and Kenneth. Stu is survived by his older brother Al.

Stu was a well-liked and respected Toolmaker at General Motors for over 30 years. Over the last few years, he worked part-time driving limousine for Niagara Casinos. During his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching football with friends. Stu will be greatly missed by his daughters, brother, many work and football friends, including longtime friend Paul, and by his cat the Roxanator.

In honouring Stu’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will welcome guests for a visitation at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines, on Thursday, October 12th from 2:00 - 4:00pm, with his daughters speaking a few commemorative words at 3:30pm.

A Celebration of Life gathering will follow the same day at Bugsy’s Bar (Lakeshore Rd & Lake St) from 4:30pm onwards.
