Passed away peacefully at Niagara Health System , St. Catharines Site on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Grace Carmelia Allen. Dearly loved father of Steven (Karen) Allen and Christine (Bob) Post. Cherished grandfather of Alex Post, Ryan Post, Kristen (Cory) Allen and Meghan (Brenden) Barron and great grandfather of Jesse Witteveen. Predeceased by his brother Leslie Allen. Survived by his sister Jean Robinson and his many nieces and nephews. Ron served with the Royal Engineers, helping to run the power station at the Suez Canal during WWII. Those who knew Ron would agree that he was a perfectionist, be it brewing beer, taking photographs, or working in his trade in refrigeration. Cremation has taken place and a gathering in Celebration of Ron’s life will take place in the New Year.
