Richard Patrick Novak

Novak, Richard Patrick peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 79. Richard, beloved husband of Shirley for 58 years. Dear father of Kim, Lynn and her husband Mark, Alan and his wife Debbie, Lee and his wife Eleanore, and Bradley and his wife Jackie. Devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. Lovingly remember by his sisters Jennifer, Wanda and Marion. Predeceased by his brothers John and Edward and his sisters Helen and Julie. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Richard proudly served the city of St. Catharines as a firefighter for 31 years.

The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346), on Sunday, March 29th 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., the Vigil will take place in the funeral home on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 67 Church Street, St. Catharines at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 30th, 2015. The Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to the Salvation Army or the War Amps in Richard’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
