CLARK, Nancy Celia Mabel (Rhodes) – Peacefully at Welland Hospital on June 26, 2011 surrounded by family in her 94th year. Nancy was beloved and will be dearly missed by her children Sherrie Maloney (John), Brandy Cote (Andre), Jack Clark (Ann), Carol MacKenzie and grandchildren Megan (Sandro) Seca, Patrick (Jen) Maloney, Alanna Maloney, Andrew Maloney, Sarah Maloney, Todd & Kyra Clark, Brenda McNiven, Clark Ruth, Scott (Misty) Ruth, John Kirchlechner, Ed (Pat) Kirchlechner. Also surviving are many great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Peg Jarmy of Australia. Predeceased by her husband James Mathie Clark (1991), daughter Barbara Clark (June 2011) and granddaughter Leslie Kirchlechner. Born in Croydon, England, July 22, 1917, Nancy came to Canada in1945 as a war bride and settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Retired as an executive secretary at Avionics. She was an active member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Royal Canadian Legion Branch #124 for many years, also serving as president of the Ladies Auxilary, as well as a member of the Eastern Star. She loved music and dancing was an avid card player and enjoyed engaging in pleasant conversation. The Memorial Service will be held at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 3 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to service.
