(nee Thibaudeau)
1929 - 2015
Ann passed away suddenly on Monday, February 2nd at Niagara Health System’s St. Catharines Site. Predeceased by her adoring husband Jack, she will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children John (Lynn), Peter (Debbie), Doug (Joseline) and Carol (Kevin), and by her grandchildren Brent, Colin, Evan, Kaitlyn, Stephen and Tory.
Ann was a former Athlete of the Year at Lawrence Park Collegiate, and held both nursing and arts degrees. She was a life-long volunteer at several churches and two hospices, and supported a number of worthy causes through her charitable foundation. A former championship lawn bowler, she was a knowledgeable, die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fan, never met a bridge game she didn’t enjoy, and, over the years, enriched the lives of nine canine and feline companions. Her many friends and fellow bridge mavens in Toronto, Caledon, Vineland and Mount Dora will miss her keen mind and gentle nature.
Ann’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alban’s Anglican Church - 4341 Ontario Street in Beamsville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders would be gratefully appreciated. Online tributes may be made at www.hulseandenglish.com
