John "Bruce" Whiteford

Bruce was predeceased by his wife Doris, son John, brother Tom, and brother-in-law Norman Caron. Sadly missed by his daughters Susan Whiteford (Liouba Tanevsky) and Linda (Mike) Sprackett. Beloved Grandpa to Jennifer (Ryan) Gillap, Ryan Sprackett (Ashleigh Clarke), Melissa Sprackett (Ron Belanger), Hannah Sprackett (Alex Jackson), and Ashley Whiteford. Great- Grandpa to Krya, Hudson, Ali, Kaiden, and Kenzie. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Ursula and extended family and friends. Bruce was a Sergeant Detective with the Westmount Police Department in Montreal and in his retirement worked as the Director of Security at Ridley College in St. Catharines.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Ridley College Memorial Chapel, 2 Ridley Road, St. Catharines on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior.
