Jack is predeceased by his loving wife, Audrey in 2018.
Dad is survived by his beloved children: Carolyn and John (Rhonda). Also, the proud Grandpa/Papa to Kristin (Joel), Kevin (Shawna), Georgie and Jaclyn. Cherished Great-Grandpa to Aiden and Ava. Loving Godfather to Diane and Cynthia.
Dad loved his sports. Any and all, having played hockey, baseball, golfing, bowling, billiards. As a young man, Dad was the proud captain of a junior hockey team representing Canada in Scotland. He cheered for the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, Buffalo Bills, had favourite golfers. Always the sports channel on tv.
Later, Dad enjoyed a daily beer, swimming in his pool, gardening and growing his beefsteak tomatoes for family and friends. A swim at the cottage, a gathering of friends for happy hour in Florida, watching the grandchildren’s sporting events. Dad was a happy and genial gentleman, always with a big smile. Many thanks to Sandy and Tony and Mikey for Monday night chicken dinners they brought faithfully for many years while still in his family home.
Many thanks to Dr. J. and the wonderful staff at the Royal Henley for their exceptional care.
