Jack Oliver McIntosh

Born July 11, 1921 in St. Catharines, passed away September 11, 2015 at the Niagara Health System, General Site. Predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Rilla (2007), parents George and Laura McIntosh, brothers; Bill, Art, Roy, and son in law Paul Papineau. Beloved father of Gail Papineau, Linda (Jacque) Beaulieu, Cheryl Ireson, and Richard (Carol) McIntosh. Cherished papa of eight grandchildren: Brian (Shelley) Papineau, Sheri Papineau-Becker (Tim), Colette (John) Gerryts, Rob Beaulieu, Tara (Rich) Maddox, Matthew (Tanya) Ireson, Andrea (Kamil) Sikorski, and Sean McIntosh. Fun loving papa to thirteen great-grandchildren: Abigail, Alex, and Amy Papineau, Austin and Ashley Shale, Justine Becker, Haddon Gerryts, Taylor, Jorda, Matt, and Emily Maddox, Ella and Erica Ireson. Survived by his sister Irene Richardson, sister in law Jessie Dobbie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Our dad was a true gentleman who found joy in his family, Westminster Church family, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Toronto Blue Jays. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pringle, the doctors and nurses of NHS, and pharmacists; Ron and Mark Boccinfuso who took great care of our dad.

The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346) on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
