Passed away on June 22nd 2014 at Douglas Memorial Hospital, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Edward Swain. Loving Mother of Kathryn Green (Howard) and Patricia Park (Robert). Dear Nanny of Patrick Lecompte (Missy), Heather Nowell (Rob) and Yvonne Ladouceur (Paul). Great-Grandmother of eight. Loving sister of Jack Riddell of Welland, and Gloria Golding of California. Predeceased by her brothers Max, Reg and Ken. Special thank you to the staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital Complex Care Unit, Dr. Peter Gleeson and Dr. Raymond Harb for their care of Helen. Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905) 684-6346 on Friday, July 4th, 2014 from 10-11am. Helen’s service to follow in the Chapel at 11am. Inurnment immediately after service at Victoria Lawn Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by her family.
