It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah “Debbie” Marie Markowski (nee Penner). Debbie passed away peacefully on November 24, 2022 at the age of 70. She was truly graceful and determined to the end and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Debbie was a dedicated and supportive mother who will be deeply missed by her children Justin (Janelle), Adam (Tanysha) and Lisa (Nathan). Cherished grandmother to Joshua, Isaac, Luke, Sarah, Carter, Malakai, James, Olive, Ashton and Clara. Dear sister to Esther (John), Katherine (George), and Lenora (Jim). Will be thought of fondly by Ted, Joan and all her nieces and nephews. Dear friend to Janice and Cathy. She is predeceased by her father Jacob, mother Katherine, and brothers Albert and Neil.
We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Hospice Niagara for the comfort and compassion they gave Debbie and our family during this very difficult time.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. St.Catharines, on Sunday, December 11th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara (www.hospiceniagara.ca).
