Passed peacefully at home on December 29, 2015 at the age of 69 years. Brenda was born in Bournemouth, raised in Poole, emigrated from England to Canada in 1975 and settled in St. Catharines in 1982. Brenda was a highly independent and astute business woman who was known for her friendliness and generosity. Brenda welcomed many foreign students to Canada via her participation in Brock University’s Homestay Program for English Language Students and she was a long time volunteer at Niagara Family and Children’s Services and Positive Living Niagara. In 2006 Brenda was a recipient of the “Women in Business” award. Brenda is survived by her children, her many grandchildren and her extended family.
