Beverley Ann Burley was born in Timmins Ontario on February 19, 1946 to Albert and Ella Miller. The 3rd of 5 children.
By the time she was 5 yrs. old the family had moved to St Catharines Ont. where she and her 3 siblings were joined by a baby sister named Bonnie.
Later the family settled in Weston, Downsview and Thistletown On.
This is where she met her future husband Charlie.
It was Charlie’s sense of humor that attracted her. They loved of country music and went to many of concerts. Often seen dancing at parties, they truly enjoyed their life together.
Bev used to joke, if Charlie ever stopped making her laugh, she’d leave him. He never let her down.
They married in 1963 and welcomed Donna in 1964, Rick in 1965 and Paul in 1974.
Bev loved family get togethers and was always planning something.
Bev worked as a book keeper, a hostess, operated several small businesses with Charlie, and retired from her last position as a property manager.
She loved to do stitch craft to keep her hands busy making all sorts of gifts from coasters, ornaments to tissue boxes.
She loved annual camping trips with her family and sister’s families at Sandbanks. A favorite summer tradition.
Bev passed away peacefully in her 77th year on Sunday November 13, 2022, at St. Catherine’s General Hospital, surrounded with the love of her family. Cherished wife of the late Charles Burley (2020).
Loving Mom to her children Donna Burley, the late Richard Burley, and Paul Burley (Teresa).
Cherished Grandma and Great Grandma to Charles Burley (Katie) and their son Henry, and Amanda Burley.
She will be missed by her siblings Don Miller (Jeanie), Marlene Ross (Bill 2015), and Bonnie Bird (Neil)
Predeceased by her parents Ella and Albert Miller, and her brother Dave Miller (2013)
Bev will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family for a graveside ceremony where they will lay to rest the ashes of Beverly, Charles and Richard at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Rd. Etobicoke, on Friday November 25th at 11am.
All are welcome to join the family for a light lunch and conversation at St. Mathew’s Church, 3962 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, following the service.
