Passed away peacefully at Niagara-On-The- Lake Hospital in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Wilhelmina Kannegieter, dearest father of Janie-Lou Culbertson (Neil), Jo-Anne Smyth (Rob), Paul Kannegieter (Alison), dearest Opa and Grandpa to Samantha, Josh (Ashley), Alex, Nick and Chris Kelly. Born in the Netherlands, Paul emigrated from Holland working for Heintzman Pianos for 25 years and eventually opened the Ivory Tower piano and organ store in St. Catharines in 1970. He retired in 1983 and focused his time on serving the community through prison ministry, service to the Lord, his family and others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and him and admired for his care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905- 684-6346) on Wednesday, October 24th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at Immanuel Baptist Church, 605 Vine St. St.Catharines ( corner of Vine and Parnell) on Thursday October 25, 2012 at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill.
