After a brief illness, Nan passed away peacefully at Niagara Regional Health Centre on Friday May 9, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved mother of Susan Babcock. Devoted grandmother to Stephen, Catherine, and Rebecca and lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Stephen. Dear sister of Robert and Charles of Scotland, and Alex of Kingston. Nan emigrated from Scotland at the age of 19. She met her late husband John in Toronto and were happily married for 52 years. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and doctors of the Critical Care Ward for their loving care during her illness.
Nan’s Memorial Service will be held on Thursday May 15 at 1 pm at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake.
