Peacefully passed away on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at Albright Manor, Beamsville, in her 99th year.
Mourning her passing are her daughter Linda, son-in-law Blake McIntyre, and three grandchildren, Stuart (Michelle), Andrew (Marisa), and Megan McIntyre, three great grandchildren Sophie, Aislyn and Alistair,sister-in-law Jean Chadwick, niece Jane and nephew Kevin Chadwick (Carole) and their children.
Predeceased by her first husband William Wright in 1974 and her second husband Gottfied Erhardt in 2009, her parents, Laverne and Alma Chadwick, her brother Stan Chadwick, sisters-in-law Mary, Rene, Helen, and Cecelia; and brothers-in-law Frank and Joe Wright and Rev. John Wright.
Alicia was employed for 25 years as an elementary school secretary by the former Lincoln County Board of Education, retiring in 1982. Alicia was also secretary of the St. Catharines Civinettte Club, retiring in 1990. Following her retirement Alicia enjoyed stained glass work, oil painting and extensive travelling.
Our Family is most grateful for the exemplary care Mom received during her almost ten years at Albright Manor. Those who wish are invited to donate to Albright in her memory. Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346), on Friday, December 6th from 11am. A Celebration of Alicia’s life will follow in the chapel at 12, noon. Private Family interment at a later date.
