Bill will be missed by all, he was the post advisor to our Explorer Post, post 835 when I was in early high school.

Bill was a close and a good friend to us and to all who knew him. He had a roar like a lion, but was a real teddy bear inside.  He had the talent to fix and to build anything he set his mind to.  He loved his wife Dotty and his family.  We will miss our dearest friend.

We are thinking of you and your family and remembering the Thanksgiving and Christmas meals at your home with all of your family (way back when). And, especially remembering you mom and dad's visit out here to Seattle and how thrilled he was to tour the Kenworth plant. The first time I met Bill at Kenworth, where I worked, I knew I had a new friend. He made everyone his friend with his big smile and wonderful way of making you feel like you'd known him forever. He will be greatly missed. He was well respected as a businessman. But I will miss him as my friend. Condolences to his family.

I will miss Bill's special sense of humor. He was a fighter until the end. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Bill's family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
