Wanda Jean (nee Hardin) Bollinger, 91, born on March 4, 1924 in Fort Scott, KS to the late Joe Hardin and Pearl (nee Miller) Hardin passed away on April 21, 2015 at DePaul Hospital. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jolly Bollinger and sons, Dennis B. Bollinger and Jerry W. Bollinger. Wanda is survived by her sons, Larry J. (Carol) Bollinger and Donald L. Bollinger; daughters-in-law, Hanh Bollinger and Barbara Harris; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her brother, Joe Hardin.
Wanda retired from Famous Barr having worked in ladies better dresses and as an assistant manager. She loved her family and enjoyed knitting and sewing. She enjoyed gardening and the beauty of a flower garden. She was an amazing mom and grandma and will be missed!
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Following the service, she will be interred beside her husband at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
