Stephen proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran and spent many years working diligently as a Postal Worker. His dedication to his work was surpassed only by his love for the great outdoors. Stephen found immense joy in fishing and hunting, often sharing stories of his adventures with those close to him. His fondness for country music was well-known among family and friends, and it provided the soundtrack to many cherished moments in his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Kathleen Lindsey, and his brother, Robert "Bob" Lindsey.
Stephen leaves behind a loving family who will forever miss his presence. He is survived by his brothers Richard (Donna) Lindsey and Larry (Tamie) Lindsey, his sister Donna Adams, and his sister-in-law Joyce Lindsey. His memory will also be cherished by his nephews and nieces: Dennis Lindsey, Tiffany Lindsey, Shelly McManus, Mark McManus, Kristy Crawford, Brian Crawford, Sharon Adams, Eric Adams, Heather Koester, Nate Koester, Greg Lindsey, Casey Lindsey, Lori Lindsey, Mike Lindsey, Britney Lindsey, Jeff Lindsey, Erica Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, Josephine Lindsey, Carman McManus, Chase McManus, Cody McManus, Katelyn Crawford, Logan Adams, Dylan Adams, Tanner Lindsey, Jaxon Lindsey, Holly Lindsey, Bobbie Lindsey, Robbie Lindsey, and Jackson Lindsey.
Stephen's legacy will live on through his extensive family, who will keep his love for life, nature, and music in their hearts.

A visitation will be held at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home, located at 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074, on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a service to follow at 12:00 pm. A committal service will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, located at 2900 Sheridan Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125.
