Roberta M Smith

Roberta M. (Clubb) Smith, 74, of Crete, Nebraska, formerly of St. Louis, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2014 in Seward, Neb. She was born May 30, 1939 in St. Louis, Mo. to William R. & Ruth E. (Leazenby) Clubb. Roberta graduated from Fairview High School (Jennings, Mo.) in 1957. She married Gordon D. Smith on March 21, 1959, in St. Louis. Gordon passed away in December of 1990. Roberta was a CNA at the Crete Hospital before retiring in 2004.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Lisa L. & George J. Kalcik of Seward, Neb.; grandchildren and spouse, Dan G. & Tonya R. Ventre, MeLisa M. Ventre, Melanie M. Ventre; great grandchildren, Luis T. Priess & Ethan D. Ventre; brothers & sister-in-law, Richard & Mary Clubb, Roland Clubb; sisters, Rosalie Costello & Ruffina David & numerous other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William & Ruth (Leazenby) Clubb; brothers & sister-in-law, Charles Clubb, William & Jeanette Clubb, Donald Clubb, Robert Clubb; sister, Joyce Clubb; brothers-in-law, Mitch Costello & Dave David.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2014, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo. 63074. Interment will follow in Lake Charles Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday,
