Richard Bernhardt Herr

Richard Bernhardt Herr, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021. Beloved husband to the late June A. Herr (nee Puckett); dearest father to Terri (Dennis) Cowin, Cheri (Rick) Valli, Gail (Leo) Madden, Judy (Rob) Fyalka, Rich (Libby) Herr and Jeanne Clore (nee Herr); loving grandfather to Dan, Tony, Jake, Jacqueline, Tim, Taylor, Robbie, Amanda, Grace, Ricky, Sophie, Noah, Max, Kyle and Logan and great grandfather of Landen, Rosemary, Natalie, Aiden, TJ, Sophia and Leona. Dear son to the late Ben and Alvera Herr, brother to the late Delores Bretch and the late Jack Herr. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Rich served in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Korean war. He was a business owner of a flooring company until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, trap and skeet shooting where he won many tournaments, reading and gardening, watching Cardinal baseball, but most of all spending time with family at the many gatherings at his home in Florissant. Had a great love of walking and being outdoors.

Services: Private family gathering on November 6, 10:00 a.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home Chapel, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074.
