Mary Miller Wall, age 97, of St. Ann, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Mary was born in Painton, Missouri. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Russell Price Wall; her daughter Rosemary Boyd and her son Duane Price Wall; her parents Herbert and Bess (nee Cobb) Painton.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter Dianne Wall (Charles Alderson); and her son Ronald Wall; along with her brother Albert Painton. Mary was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren; Natalie Toney (nee Scrivner), Christian Wall, and Adam Wall. She also had eight great-grandchildren.
Mary was devoted to her faith and to her family, both brought her so much joy. She was a kind and caring woman and always seen the best in people. Mary was best described as an inspiration to her family and community and those who loved and knew her well. In her younger years, Mary studied art and fashion design at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. Mary also became a licensed pilot and had her own plane by the age of sixteen.
Private services will be held for Mary. She will be laid to rest at Mount Lebanon Cemetery at 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074.
Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to First Baptist Church of St. Ann, 3714 Wright Avenue, St. Ann, Missouri 63074. She was an active member and secretary for several years and served on the board.
