Allen was a man of God known for his boundless kindness and generosity. His life was a testament to the virtues of compassion, hard work, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. Throughout the greater part of his life, Allen was a dedicated newspaper carrier, bringing the news to his community. Rain or shine, his commitment to his work was unwavering.
When he was young, Allen regularly patronized the thrift stores. He had a garage full of “78 and 33 1/3 vinyl covering the 1910’s to the 1950’s. One of his great joys was watching “The Three Stooges,” and “The Wizard of Oz” over and over with his nursing home buddies. He also had a fascination for history and stories surrounding the sinking of the Titanic.
Those left behind to cherish Allen’s memory include his adoring cousins, Judy Booher-Alberts, David (Terri) Booher, Gert Booher, Gary (Kathy) Booher, and Larry Booher, many other cousins, and friends.
Rest in peace, dear Allen, and may your journey be filled with endless melodies and laughter as you follow the yellow brick road to the place where dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
