Linda Sue Varner

Linda Sue Varner, age 62, of St. John, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude (nee Weismantel), her brother, Steven DeLosSantos, and two nephews, Jason and Monte’ DeLosSantos.

Linda leaves behind her loving daughters, Amber (Byron) Pitts and Mandy Varner, her dear father, Pete DeLosSantos, and her sisters; Pam DeLosSantos, Debbie (Dave) Souders, Sue (Bob) Brandriff, along with her beloved grandchildren, Paul, Patrick, Payton, and Parker. She was not only a dedicated mother and grandmother but also a cherished aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Linda embraced life with a zest for simple pleasures. She found joy in sharing a meal with her family and friends, enjoyed an occasional visit to the casinos with her sister, and her favorite color, pink, reflected her vibrant spirit. Linda had a weakness for spooky movies and spent many evenings engrossed in their tales. She also relished the game of Yahtzee, often playing it on her phone. Like her father, she had a passion for collecting coins, a tradition close to her heart.

Her giving heart knew no bounds, and she would readily extend a helping hand to anyone in need. Linda’s sassy personality was a part of her charm, as she could dish out humor and take it with grace, endearing herself to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Linda’s presence will be deeply missed, but her vivacious spirit and kind-hearted nature will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A gathering of family and friends for Linda will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
